A team of four from the Mississippi Crisis Response Network deployed to Wilmington, North Carolina. We are available to offer services to first receivers and first responders.
We are currently coming alongside the staff and administration of the New Hanover Regional Medical Facility. The reception has been very warm from our neighbors here in North Carolina.
We have seen hundreds of employees and engaged many of them. They are from many departments and several facilities.
We plan to be here through next week and are excited to be able to help. Many will remember that North Carolina helped us substantially post-Katrina. We are humbled and privileged to be able to give back just a little bit of what we received.
We are thankful for safe travels, friends who are keeping us in their prayers, and opportunities to serve others.
Kim Blackwell of IGO First, and Lori Musa of MSDH share a meal during a long day.
